About a Greek American....
Peter Baltis
I immigrated to the United States in 1964. I met my
wife Donna and we got married the following year. During our marriage,
we had two children, Elizabeth and William. In 1967 I formed Baltis
Electric Company, doing electric installations in Residential,
Commercial, and Industrial Projects. I joined the Order of AHEPA
in 1972 and through the years I served my chapter, number 140 in
Albany, New York. Going through the chairs, I then served as president
for two terms. In the early 1980's, I was elected to the district
lodge, for district number 6 of New York. Going through the chairs, I
was elected District Governor and served for two years in 1992
and 1993. At the New Orleans national convention, I was elected Supreme
Governor and I served in the Supreme Lodge with great pleasure.
I am still an active member and will continue to serve my chapter for
the years to come.
