Dear Brothers,
I send you greetings from the District Lodge. I hope that you had a lovely Easter. The District Lodge had their meeting on Thursday, May 1st in Astoria, Queens. At the meeting the following items were discussed.
1- The Greek Independence Parade - We had a wonderful turn out. District 5 and District 6 marched together down 5th Avenue. The Float received rave reviews. We are still accepting donations for the Parade. Please mail your donation to the District Treasurer - Jimmy Kokotas, 2024 Mill Ave. Brooklyn, N.Y. 11234.
2- Reminder! The AHEPA District 6 CONVENTION will take place in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, LaGuardia, N.Y. 104-04 Ditmars Blvd, East Elmhurst N.Y. The Convention will be for one day on Saturday June 7th from 8-5:00 P.M. A motion was made and passed to charge $45.00 for the Luncheon. AHEPA and the Daughters will work together to make this event a success. Please mail me the names of your delegates and two alternates as soon as possible. Att: Demi Pamboukes (address above).
***In lieu of a Convention Journal, we are having a special Program Sponsorship to help defray the cost of the Convention. We are asking you to become a Sponsor. We will have your name prominently displayed in our District 6 Convention Program.

3- District 6 per-capita dues are $3.00 per member. We are requesting that you send a check (total x$3.00) per member. As soon a possible. Please do not be delinquent. Mail your check to our Treasurer- Jimmy Kokotas.
4- The Lodge is looking forward to visiting Chapter # 158 in Poughkeepsie N.Y. on Saturday May 10th. You are all welcomed to attend.
5- WEBSITE- Good News! Our WEB is up and operating. At www.ahepaempirestatedistrictsix.com. We once again thank Br. Paris Karounos for setting up the WEB. Let’s work together to make this WEB a success. Please share any news or articles that you would like to put on the WEB.
